What is the first book that ever made you cry? And if you're not the type to cry when reading books, make you really, really sad? by rainpatches
I am 100% definitely the type of person to cry at books! I think it was Granpa by John Burningham, a beautiful picture book I read as a 7/8 year old. It's a gorgeous little story about the relationship between a girl and her grandfather.Where in Scotland are you from and what's the coldest it gets there? I was in Edinburgh for a new years once, and it was the coldest I think I have ever been. It even snowed!
I'm originally from Falkirk and I moved to Dunoon at 14. I've been living in Edinburgh for five years now. The coldest I've seen is about -10 or so. It gets too cold to snow!
Wow--Scotland! My grandfather lived in Scotland as a young boy (he will be 100 this November). My question: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Wow! Happy Birthday to your grandfather when it comes!
If I could live anywhere, I'd love to live in Japan. I haven't even been there but I know I could live there more than happily!
Do you write anything else besides this blog?
Yes! I write short stories, and poems on occasion. I'm currently 1/4 of the way through my first real attempt at a novel too.
If you had to go some where and never come back, where would that place be and why? by LexieVamp
I'd find myself a tiny little old cottage in the middle of some Scottish hinterland, among some trees. I'd have some cosy armchairs, lots of books, a log fireplace and unlimited tea. Oh, and a cat called Oscar and a dog called Jude.
